Gold deals on Moscow Exchange drop 32% to 7.52 tns in Jan–Aug
MOSCOW, Sep 2 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of gold deals on the Moscow Exchange fell by 31.91% on the year to 7.517 tonnes in January–August, the Moscow Exchange said on Wednesday.
The volume of silver deals more than tripled to 21.287 tonnes.
In monetary terms, deals in gold and silver fell to 30.925 billion rubles in the period from 27.7 billion rubles in January–August 2019.
In August, gold and silver deals on the exchange amounted to 7.4 billion rubles, including 1.6 tonnes of gold and 0.80 tonnes of silver for 50 million rubles.
